Caring, honest & professional

I have over 14 years of hands on experience and have successfully treated many types of injuries and conditions such as grade 1, 2 & 3 strains and sprains, referred pain and discomfort from trigger points, headaches, fibrotic tissue, adhesions in fascia, scar tissue, pre and post op, rehabilitation, shortened muscle groups, poor posture/habits, bursitis, tendinopathy, forms of arthritis, restless legs syndrome, fibromyalgia, and bronchioextosis to name a few.

I pride myself on honesty, integrity, intuitiveness and achieving where others have failed!

My treatments incorporate advanced stretching techniques, neuromuscular techniques, soft tissue release and muscle energy techniques to remove adhesions, scar tissue and help to realign muscle fibres.  This will restore muscles to optimum working order and therefore enhance athletic performance or general day to day performance e.g. trying to achieve a personal best time in a half or full marathon or even allowing more time spent on gardening.

My aim is to provide caring, honest and professional treatments for all ages and fitness levels.  Advice and suggestions on ergonomics, lifestyle and encouragement may also be given.

Physical activity is vitally important to your health, but it’s no good if your muscles and joints are preventing you, then you are in that catch 22 situation, where you begin to reduce your physical activity because of pain or discomfort, then reduce again as the pain increases, then the less you do, the less you want to do then begin the downward spiral, BUT you can get it back!

Physical activity will increase cardiovascular and muscular efficiency, state of mind and reduce the risk of diseases such as diabetes, osteoarthritis and heart disease.  But don’t just jump in, have a plan, set small achievable goals and have the muscular system assessed and possibly treated before commencing, you don’t want to have to stop before you get properly started due to imbalances and underlying issues that may rear their ugly head.

Bodymaintenance.co.uk can help you achieve these goals and improve longevity of the activity whether you are beginning a new sport or past time, trying to improve on an existing one or returning to one.

Bodymaintenance treatments are aimed at all ages and fitness levels.  My advice and professional services can transform your life by bringing you back to fitness and free of pain.

Pain and discomfort often prevents you from enjoying life and more importantly can affect your long term health, overall fitness and mental harmony. Some patients feel as though they are on a downward spiral.  Don't despair! things can improve, dramatically!

I can assist with recovery from a range of conditions, injuries and illnesses from mild strokes to Alzheimer’s for which I work closely with clients on timing, coordination and proprioception work.

Where conventional physiotherapy treatments fail or where the G.P says there's a waiting list of 9-10 weeks,  it is not uncommon for us to see real results in only two sessions across one week.

I’ve been fortunate throughout my career to have treated a hugely varying age group, my clients range in age from the youngest being just 8 years old to a 93 year old lady currently being treated for knee pain and posture.  A diverse range of people from all walks of life.  You can read my case studies / testimonials, ranging from professional performers, international athletes, ballet dancers, tv stars to housewives and grandparents.

I am friendly, approachable and professional.  I'm focused on delivering the best possible treatment for your recovery.  I provide a free consultation and assessment which will give you the opportunity to meet me and discuss your requirements with no obligation for treatment.  If I feel that a treatment from myself will not benefit you, then I will advise you accordingly and guide you in a suitable direction for alternative treatment.  Treatments are approximately 45 minutes long and typically start at £35.00.

I would love to hear from you, so please get in touch through our contact form or give me a call.
